The Claremont is back in it's fourth year as an Open House and proud to be showing one of the biggest and most impressive collections of contemporary art in the Festival.

We hope the combination of over 30 artists contributing stunning new work in a wide variety of mediums throughout this charming Victorian building and walled garden, plus the chance to sneak a peak at Brighton and Hove's first five-star guest accomodation, will make this an opportunity not to be missed!

During May, we are open every weekend 11-6pm EXCEPT Sunday the 22nd but we are open on the Bank Holiday Monday (30th)

Anna Wenger

Anna set up her company Sacred Stitches.co.uk after graduating with a BA(Hons) in Illustration. Taking inspiration from traditional Mexican folk art and old school tattoo imagery she creates hand-embroidered cushions, screen printed clothing, original artwork, homewares and gifts.
All items are hand made, unique and full of individuality. Each cushion’s intricate motif is hand drawn before being free hand embroidered, using varied threads and stitches to form a tactile design.
She has recently collaborated with Brighton tattooist James Robinson to produce an exciting range of limited edition prints.
